CETMA’s PBP Home Gardening Project has received a funding boost of £2000 from the Wesleyan Foundation Fund. The Fund is managed by Community Foundation Wales and the funding will provide volunteers with a space where they can learn about improving their all-round general wellbeing by growing healthy and nutritious food.

Laura Williams, Project Officer said:

“The aim of the project is to encourage people to start growing their own food. and to provide the PBP Foodbank with fresh food.”

“We understand that the Foodbank is only a temporary measure when it comes to combatting Food Poverty, that’s why we’re looking at other solutions such as growing your own food.”

“The garden is coming along nicely and we’ve already been providing the Foodbank with fresh vegetables, and we’ve been growing flowers to brighten up the place.”

Please contact CETMA if you’re interested in the project. You can also email ljwilliams@cetma.org.uk, search @CETMAWales or @Meganandthefoodsquad
