About CETMA Llanelli
CETMA Llanelli serves as our registered office and is the home base for a variety of community-focused initiatives, including the Llanelli LGBTQ+ Support Group, Fairtrade Llanelli, and several other organizations dedicated to social welfare and community development.
Founded in 2008 under the name LlanelliTown.com, CETMA has been an integral part of the Llanelli community for over a decade. Throughout its history, CETMA has operated from multiple locations, ranging from Trostre to Tyisha, each serving as a hub for its wide array of services and programs. Today, our office is conveniently situated on Station Road, providing easy access to both the train station and the nearby bus stop, making it a central and accessible location for community members.
CETMA Llanelli is deeply committed to addressing a variety of social issues and enhancing the well-being of the local community. One of our primary goals is to reduce food waste and ensure that surplus food reaches those in need. We also provide support to individuals facing a range of challenges, including assistance with using computers and smart devices, which is increasingly important in our digital age. Additionally, we offer guidance and resources to those dealing with financial worries exacerbated by the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Mental health support is another crucial aspect of our mission. We strive to create a supportive environment where individuals can access the help they need. Furthermore, promoting equality and inclusion for the LGBTQ+ community remains a cornerstone of our efforts. By fostering a culture of acceptance and understanding, we aim to build a more inclusive community where everyone feels valued and respected.
At CETMA Llanelli, we believe in the power of community and the importance of coming together to support one another. Our diverse range of programs and initiatives are designed to address the multifaceted needs of our community, and we are proud to be a trusted resource and advocate for positive change in Llanelli.
