CETMA Llanelli is pleased to announce a series of new, practical courses designed to help people understand and complete Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Universal Credit (UC) application forms. These sessions break down each section clearly and calmly, helping attendees feel more confident and less overwhelmed by the process.
Both courses are guidance‑only workshops. CETMA will not be completing forms on behalf of attendees, and there is no obligation to fill anything in during the session. Participants are welcome to bring their forms or log in online if they wish to follow along as each step is explained.
To ensure a supportive and comfortable experience, each session will take place in an intimate, small‑group setting. Spaces are very limited, allowing attendees to ask questions freely without feeling pressured or self‑conscious.
PIP Form‑Filling Course
• 29 May, 10:15 – 12:00
• 31 July, 10:15 – 12:00
Universal Credit (UC) Form‑Filling Course
• 12 June, 10:15 – 12:00
• 14 August, 10:15 – 12:00
Each session requires a minimum donation of £10 to help cover staffing, resources, and venue costs.
These workshops are ideal for anyone who finds benefit forms confusing, stressful, or difficult to navigate. CETMA’s digital inclusion team will guide attendees through each section, explain what the questions are really asking, and highlight common pitfalls to avoid.
Elian Williams, Director and Digital Inclusion Manager at CETMA, said:
“We know how intimidating these forms can be, especially when you’re already dealing with health issues, stress, or uncertainty. Our aim is to create a calm, friendly space where people feel comfortable asking questions and gaining the confidence they need to complete the forms in their own time. Everyone deserves clear guidance and a fair chance to access the support they’re entitled to.”
