CETMA is proud to announce the launch of the Katrina Rowe Volunteer of the Year Award, a new annual honour created to celebrate the dedication of our volunteers while remembering the late Katrina Rowe on the first anniversary of her passing on 20 April.
Katrina was a cherished member of the CETMA family whose warmth, commitment, and generosity touched countless lives. Her legacy of compassion and community spirit continues to inspire our work every day. This award has been established to ensure her memory lives on through the recognition of others who embody the same values she brought to our organisation.
Beginning this year, the award will be presented on 20 April, or on the closest available date if it falls on a weekend or bank holiday. Each year, it will honour one volunteer who has gone above and beyond in their support of CETMA’s projects, people, and communities.
Nominations Now Open
CETMA invites staff, volunteers, and members of the public to nominate a member of our volunteer team who deserves recognition for their outstanding contribution. Self‑nominations are not permitted.
To nominate someone, please email info@cetma.org.uk with:
- The name of the volunteer you wish to nominate
- A brief description of why you believe they should receive the award
All nominations will be reviewed by CETMA’s Board of Directors, who will select the recipient based on the impact, dedication, and spirit demonstrated by the nominees.
Honouring Service. Celebrating Community. Remembering Katrina.
The Katrina Rowe Volunteer of the Year Award reflects CETMA’s ongoing commitment to valuing the people who make our work possible. Through this annual recognition, we honour not only the exceptional volunteers who support our mission, but also the enduring legacy of a much‑loved colleague and friend.
