CETMA Swansea have launched its OneStop project. The project aims to provide a variety of options of support to young people in Swansea. The Project is currently due to run for just under a year up to April 2024 and naturally aims to be able to provide vital assistance in many aspects to the community. And the project has been funded by The Principality Building Society’s Fund, managed by Community Foundation Wales.

Speaking about the project, CETMA Swansea Office Manager, Elian Williams said “The work CETMA does in Carmarthenshire is vital and we take pride in being able to help out where we can, especially when accounting for the fact communities are still recovering from the impact of Covid-19 as well as the current Cost of Living crisis, and we hope we can provide a similar level of support in the Swansea area”.

Under the OneStop project, among other projects, CETMA Swansea will provide

• Assistance with Government Appeal forms through the WeAreDigital Courts Project alongside HMRC
• A space to learn about going online/using the internet as part of the Online Centres Network
• A databank where you can obtain O2/Vodafone/Three SIM cards with no charge
• Home budgeting advice to try and combat the current Cost of Living Crisis
• Food/Clothing/Baby Parcels to assist the most vulnerable in the Community (donations are welcome)
• Also take part in numerous projects involving refurbished devices so any old phones/laptops will also be accepted for donation
